A rare event for southern land
an eager anticipation
to view God's winter portrait of winter fairy land.
Snow flakes gently falling
silently
gracefully
dancing in front of my eyes
such wondrous surprise.
My tired body
surrenders in silence
to
peaceful slumber
in the embrace of God's wonder.
I awaken to a new day
rushing swiftly to the window to view
the wondrous wintry display
of pure white blanketed creation
that makes my day.
